Kids work and earn their playground.

Marianne Iverson wanted a playground for her city. Many before her
had wanted the same thing and had their hopes dashed, but no one put
the work into it like this Woodland Hills resident.
Now, after receiving corporate grants, help from local businesses and
donations from local residents, the playground has come to fruition in
the city's park. Volunteers did all the installation work, and they
were hard at work Thursday night getting ready for opening day.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at the park on Friday night,
as part of the two days of Woodland Hills Days celebrations.
