Marianne Iverson wanted a playground for her city. Many before her had wanted the same thing and had their hopes dashed, but no one put the work into it like this Woodland Hills resident.

Now, after receiving corporate grants, help from local businesses and donations from local residents, the playground has come to fruition in the city's park. Volunteers did all the installation work, and they were hard at work Thursday night getting ready for opening day.
